Manus 2.0 is a new version of the Manus general-purpose AI agent, announced on 28 September 2026 together with Cue, a standalone app for personal agents. How does it work?

Cascade, the new in-house harness under Manus 2.0, starts each project light and adds specialised capabilities only when a task needs them. Around it, Automations start a task when something happens in a connected service, such as a new email, a Slack message, a calendar event or a Notion update, and a paid Cloud Computer keeps long jobs and multiplayer game servers running when your laptop is closed.
